Stephen Brown

Size: 17" x 12"
Edition: 400
Subject: Concorde G-BOAF taxiing at Filton.

Fourth edition in a set of 4 small collector prints depicting the final flight of Concorde.

Three decades of supersonic air travel came to an end on 26th November 2003 when Concorde G-BOAF flew from Heathrow back to its original birthplace at Filton, Bristol. Under the gaze of tens of thousands of onlookers Concorde left Heathrow after a water arch guard of honour provided by the airport fire service. It then flew around the Bay of Biscay before performing a low circuit over Bristol, taking in the Clifton Suspension Bridge. After its final landing at Filton, Captain Les Brodie and Chief Concorde Pilot Mike Bannister taxied the aircraft in from the runway whilst waving union flags from the windows.

Each print in Stephen Brown’s Limited Edition, Concorde – Safely Home, is signed by Concorde First Officer Peter T Sinclair.
